  • 47501 = 1Z99 1130 Colchester-Ipswich/ 0Z47 1210 Ipswich-Colchester.

  • 47760 ran around the Glasgow area hauling units around following damage caused by exceptionally high winds. I've been forwarded an account of postings from the Scot-rail.co.uk newsgroup;
    Running light as 1Z99 47760 passed Motherwell at 1615 and went via Hamilton Central to Blantyre - where it collected an EMU and departed Blantyre around 1915. The formation arrived at Motherwell at 1930 - depositing there what may have been 318270. 760 alone left Motherwell at 2010 to Yorker depot. Left York at 2045 back out for Cardross. A 5Z35 was reported as moving soon after from Cardross to Dumbarton Central Loop. There was also another unit abandoned at Cardross at the time, which may have been moved similarly to Dumbarton.
